Kate has a passion for community-building and education, with nearly two decades of dedicated research in psychedelic medicine. Driven by a deep commitment to mental health, personal transformation, and social justice, she advocates for the therapeutic potential of psychedelics in addressing conditions such as PTSD, addiction, depression, and anxiety—as well as their role in catalyzing profound personal and collective growth.

Kate believes that revising psychedelic drug policy is both a public health imperative and a critical issue of criminal justice reform. She currently serves as executive director of Nevada Coalition for Psychedelic Medicines, a 501(c)(4) advocacy organization, and Sierra Psychedelic Society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on education, community building, and risk management around psychedelic medicines.

Kate’s dedication to psychedelic therapy is complemented by her studies in depth psychology, Jungian theory, neuroscience, and mindfulness practices. As a retired professional musician and life-long artist, she brings a creative lens to all her work. Kate is a certified yoga instructor, a trained flow state coach, and holds degrees in Religion and French. In addition to completing a 20-hour course in the neuroscience of psychedelics, Kate graduated from Psychedelics Today’s 12-month Vital Psychedelic Training Program in Psychedelic Therapies and Integration, equipping her with a robust foundation for advancing psychedelic education and responsible use.
