Nevada Coalition for Psychedelic Medicines is on the front lines of one of the most urgent movements of our time: revolutionizing mental health and saving lives through psychedelic-assisted therapy.

In 2024, NCPM leadership served on the Nevada Psychedelic Medicines Working Group, established through SB242—landmark legislation we helped pass the year prior. This role positioned us to help shape two major bills introduced in 2025:
-
SJR10, urging Congress to reschedule certain psychedelics, expand federal research funding, and expand access to psychedelic therapy.
-
AB378, a regulated access pilot program for veterans and former first responders.
✅ SJR10 passed with bipartisan support, earning 27 co-sponsors from both sides of the aisle.
AB378 garnered strong momentum and widespread support with 24 primary and co-sponsors, but ultimately did not move forward during the session. Still, it sparked vital conversations and laid critical groundwork for future legislative action.
As we look toward 2027 and beyond, NCPM continues to lead the charge—engaging legislators, educating the public, and collaborating with national partners such as the Veterans Mental Health Leadership Coalition and Law Enforcement Action Partnership.
