Jon Dalton is a retired Navy SEAL and the President of the Nevada Coalition for Psychedelic Medicine, the sister organization to the Sierra Psychedelic Society.

After traveling to Mexico to embark on a healing experience with psychedelic medicine, Jon experienced their incredible potential to heal veterans and first responders. Recognizing these powerful and unconventional medicines should be accessible within the U.S., he embarked on a mission to change the course of the mental health crisis in Nevada through a legislative and cultural change effort.

During his talk, Jon will discuss his personal journey as a career Navy SEAL and his transition to military veteran that got him involved in the psychedelic renaissance movement. He will discuss the current efforts in Nevada to develop a roadmap forward for legalized access to psychedelic medicine. Finally, he will offer a call to action and explain how you can help to be an active part of the movement, to create positive and permanent change in this noble effort to eliminate the mental health crisis in our state.

With over 25 years of experience as a SEAL Officer in Navy Special Warfare, Naval Aviation, and finance related to national security, Dalton brought unparalleled expertise in tactical, strategic, and executive leadership. His extensive track record of success showcased exceptional skills in operational risk management and the ability to lead high-performance teams in complex and high-threat environments.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jon is an entrepreneur, adventurer, and outdoorsman, reflecting a spirit of exploration that defines his life outside the military.
