Bruno Moya, LSW

Bruno joined the United States Marine Corps in 2001 and received an Honorable discharge in 2008. Soon after, Bruno began his education at the College of Southern Nevada, transferring and graduating from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) with a BA in psychology and Masters of Social Work.

 

Bruno was critical in developing an advocacy program for student veterans to research and advocate for veterans' education benefits on the state and federal level.

Additionally, Bruno contributed to drafting language and advocating for numerous state bills impacting veteran's education in Nevada. Bruno has worked extensively alongside Student Veterans of America (SVA).

 

For all of his accomplishments, Bruno was awarded the UNLV Greenspun College of Urban Affairs Alumni of the Year. Bruno is currently in a three year international program studying psychedelic therapy where he travels to indigenous communities that incorporate psychedelics in their spiritual practice. Through this program, Bruno is studying under many leading psychedelic researchers around the world. Bruno currently serves as the Vice President of the Nevada Coalition for Psychedelic Medicine.
